IMG_1885CommuniTea Kombucha was in its fifth year of production and ready to move from the farmer’s market into a beautiful new brewery in the Central District. Due to flood of kombucha products on the market in recent years it was essential that the communications strategy and materials for CommuniTea reflected the high quality of CommuniTea’s kombucha and the long history its owner Chris has brewing the drink (25 years!) once thought to be a beverage for hippies and Russian grandmothers. They also needed to broaden the scope of their sales beyond the farmers market and hoped to connect with some of Seattle’s top restaurants and catering companies.

Social Change Studios supported Chris in creating a communications strategy that would attract his target audience and his sales. We facilitated a design branding process that would show that CommuniTea had evolved without losing a connection to their past brand and customer base. We developed a new webpresence that included a website, facebook and instagram accounts that tell the story of CommuniTea and highlight what makes it unique. We have an ongoing relationship with CommuniTea that includes staff and client relationship support, social media, photography, event planning and more.

Most recently, we supported CommuniTea in hosting their grand opening. We co-facilitated team planning meetings, designed unique illustrations, invitations and online materials among other event related creative tasks.
